Thank you for your interest in joining Flex Crew for the 2025 Marine Corps Marathon! We’re excited you're considering this opportunity to run with purpose and represent families navigating life with rare diseases.

Flex for Kal is a nonprofit organization built on the belief that when someone is facing something hard, others can flex for them—step up, show support, and stand together in strength. Our journey began with Kal, and what started as a show of solidarity for him has grown into a movement supporting families across the country affected by rare diseases. We provide hope, community, and resources when they’re needed most.

💪 What Is the Flex Crew?

The Flex Crew is our growing team of runners and advocates who use their miles to make a real impact. While the Flex Crew participates in events throughout the year, we've been given 25 bibs specifically for the 2025 Marine Corps Marathon, and we're looking for runners who are ready to go the distance for something bigger than themselves.

As part of our MCM team, you’ll receive:

  • A sponsored entry to the 2025 Marine Corps Marathon

  • Fundraising tools, support, and encouragement from our team

  • Flex Crew gear to rep on race day

  • A chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of families affected by rare diseases

📋 Before You Apply

Please review the following requirements before submitting your application. Due to limited bibs, this is a selective process.

✅ Fundraising Commitment

All runners are required to raise a minimum of $750. This amount helps cover your bib and directly supports our programs. Don’t worry—we’ll provide plenty of tools, ideas, and guidance to help you hit your goal.

Note: If the fundraising minimum is not met by the deadline, the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card on file.
